We are an award winning independent boutique, celebrating 25 years of trading in the iconic Jane Austen's market town of Alton.
 Ideally located on the Hampshire, Surrey borders and within an easy commute from London or Berkshire, we are delighted to be recognised as 'a  body positive" boutique with a BIG reputation for truly caring about our brides..
Our friendly, experienced personal service ensures each bride's wedding dress consultation is special, intimate and an enjoyable experience they are comfortable with! With our listening ears, a keen sense of style and vision of perfection, we engage our expertise to ensure the gown you choose is perfect for your all important special day.

We proudly showcase around 100 handpicked gowns from leading award-winning designers;  Maggie Sottero, Rebecca Ingram, Ronald Joyce, Sincerity Bridal and Lillian West (from the House of Justin Alexander) and Jemima Couture.  

Carefully curated collections focus on creating the most flattering shape to enhance you in all the right places. Luxurious gowns in the finest fabrics, luxurious lace and timeless embellishments and an array of silhouettes await with simplistic beauty, luxury and decadence at the heart of every choice.  
 
Your wedding dress is a reflection of you! Savour every moment when choosing your special gown. Our bespoke personal service provides you with an experienced dedicated stylist, who will help guide you whether you are searching for timeless elegance or a contemporary showstopper.

Our raison d'être is for your wedding ensemble to reflect the very best of you, bringing your bridal vision to life! 

The Amaryllis experience doesn’t just end with selecting your dream gown, we have a team of  highly skilled recommended seamstresses (or "dress fairies" as we affectionately call them), that will make sure you are absolutely "Aisle Ready" for your Big Day! . 

Expert advice is on hand from the addition or removal of sleeves, straps, neckline alterations, corsets, bridal sashes, boleros, sparkle, beading, boning, bustling etc.... Working with your concepts from the most subtle of changes to a gown to a unique bespoke restyle to achieve your bridal perfection, 

Be sure to view our hand picked bridal accessories that can add that perfect unique detail to truly personalise your bridal style.

 For finishing touches,  we also offer a steaming, cleaning and heritage boxing service to keep your cherished gown in pristine condition.

We have been fortunate to work with many fabulous wedding suppliers and experts. Our Little White Book of "friends" includes local photographers, florists, venues, catering, wedding planners, hair and makeup experts and a bridesmaid and mother of the bride boutique. Many will travel nationwide or internationally upon request.

Sample Gowns

We have an incredible selection of beautiful sample
gowns available "off the peg", that can be taken away the same day! 
These gowns have not been altered in any way or tried on outside of the boutique. There is only 1 of each dress, so you'll need to be quick.
Most gowns can be taken in up to 2/3 dress sizes, so don't be afraid to try those that you may think are too big.
You'll still receive the full Amaryllis service on the purchase of our sample gowns.
If you're looking for style at great value, have been dreaming of a 2nd dress or your big day is very soon.... then these gowns are for you!
