By entering the boutique you and your bridal party do so entirely at your own risk. By attending your appointment at Amaryllis, you confirm you and your guest have no known symptoms of COVID19 nor have you been in touch with any one who has COVID19 for the past 14 days or has been out of the UK in the past 14 days.
You will be the only bride in the boutique with one stylist throughout and our doors will be closed to the public throughout your appointment.
Upon arrival you will be asked to sanitise your hands and complete a temperature check and COVID19 free declaration. Don't be anxious, it's not intrusive and takes about 2 seconds. It is necessary though and and we will take our temperature also to put you at ease. We will provide sanitiser but do feel free to bring your own.
A 'new normal' bridal party will consist of the bride-to-be and 1 guest only so that social distancing can be implemented. No children under that age of 16 will be allowed and babes in arms will need to be authorised. We love little ones but please take this opportunity to have some child free time, relax and let us look after you.
The boutique and gowns will be steam cleaned prior to your arrival and all touch points will be disinfected. Please help us by arriving on time, should you be running later than 10 minutes, your appointment time may be reduced as our strict hygiene controls mean we need time in between appointments to prepare for our next bride to be. We do not currently charge for appointments but do request a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellation.
Social distancing must be adhered to during your consultation - don't worry, we will show you what to do and where to sit.
We will wear face masks in the fitting room and ask that you and your guest arrive with your own sanitised face masks also. We will provide gloves. Don't panic if you forget your masks, we will have disposable masks available to purchase at £5 per pair.
To eliminate possibilities of cross contamination and to be kind to our planet we would ask that you bring your own water bottle and do not arrive with coffees etc. We will ask you to dispose of your own PPE and would respectfully ask that you avoid using our loo where humanly possible.
Please bring a scrunchie/hair clip to put your hair up to help you visualise your final look and a pair of heels. We are not suggesting you have to wear high heels on the day (comfort is key), however, pre alterations bridal gowns tend to be very long and heels aid the visualisation process in showing you how a train will sit.
Lastly and importantly, please ensure the guest you choose is someone you feel comfortable standing in your knickers with! Be it Mum or best friend, we will in a bid to limit our social contact ask that they help you into your selected gowns where possible - so do choose your guest wisely. When we help you into a dress we will wear a protective visor and will assist from side to side and behind to avoid face to face contact.
